Hands down the best metal detecting group around. I got out of social media years ago because of how terrible people can be to one another. This place is different as I converse almost every day with my like minded friends from around the world about metal detecting. It’s geared towards helping new people get into the hobby with lots of resources to explore. There are no stupid questions just kind answers. If you’re an old salty pro or a green newbie there is something for everyone at SFTC.

What a great group of people to share my hobby with. Everyone is always so positive and supportive! It's also a great place to get information on metal detecting or learning about your machine. Lots of knowledgeable detectorists here willing to answer questions about detecting, machines and finds.
