Just befriended a photographer. Looking to learn the ropes from him. Has his own business for 3 years. Will update you guys as I move forward, and find other options in case it doesn't work out with him. How do I provide the most value to him? I know next to nothing about photography, the only camera I have is my smartphone camera. I did buy a tripod, and started to take a few pictures with it already. Other than that, I have no experience in the field. Is it okay if I take a few pictures of what I hope to get into, and post them here? I know this group is about networking with high-status people, and conveying that you have access to scarce resources, but just wanted to get the ball rolling on my photos. I remember Michael saying that you should not brag, but show that you know what you're doing, so that whoever is networking with you can trust you.
