When I started doing automation services, I was focused on the ecommerce space. I wanted to do automation for inventory management, customer retention and shipping fulfillment. When I hopped on my initial call with my first client, I was so excited to share with him all the blueprints I've built out to automate those sections of his store, but the entire time, it didn't even matter.
Why?
He just didn't have enough sales volume coming into his store to justify the need the need of trying to automate other sections of it.
This completely changed how I approached automation because before anything else, businesses, just like us humans, need blood to survive, they need leads. Hence why I switched to Automation for Lead Generation.
So, I say all that to ask.... what’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from working with a client, and how has it changed your approach?
Curious to hear how others have grown from similar experiences :)
