Why goals are a waste of time
Before I say anything more
I did not always believe this
I thought setting goals was a good thing
But then I found that I never actually met them
In fact, the fact I was putting more pressure on myself
Was taking me further away from them
So I ditched goals
And started having a vision for myself instead
The new identity I wanted to become
Goals are mostly abstract
They involve force
Pushing
While a vision is tangible on who you want to become
Once you have a vision for yourself
You start attracting people who want what you have
Pulling people to you
It’s a virtuous cycle
The deeper you work on yourself
The more people want to be around you
You don’t need to be manipulative
Your authenticity is your marketing
