Hello there! I've recently committed to taking better care of myself. So I go to sleep earlier and mind what I'm eating. And it's like my body has registered that I'm going the stop whipping it to keep going. As a response, I feel tired and soft like a marshmallow. I'm permitting myself to be tired and to just feel it. It's peaceful not to fight for the next performance, without necessarily indulging in bad habits. Just slowing things down and taking care of myself. I just wanted to share this because someone might need to read it: it's ok to be tired, and it's ok to rest. Love starts right here, right now, with us.
