I've lost 12 kg + now sticking to these basics:
Walking more
I don't get 10k steps in every single day but I use every opportunity I can to walk. It all adds up. When I'm short on time I walk on an incline for 30min on the treadmill at 4,6km an hour, 12 incline).
Protein with every meal (30-50g)
Try and aim for 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. I currently weigh 136 pounds meaning I need about 136g of protein a day. This has helped so much with my training, slimming down, my IBS (too much info?).
Reduce stress as much as possible
I got out of a bad environment and cut out negative people which got rid of inflammation fast. Extra cortisol causes inflammation which can cause your body to hold extra water weight. Be gentle with yourself. Protect your energy and peace at all costs.
Not restricting
I eat what I want as long as it fits within my macros and calories. I've tried every diet; vegan, keto, high fat, low fat, high carb, low carb, intermittent fasting... but each one just made me sick or got me to eventually binge and gain all the weight back.
Research
Do your research lol.
