To truly allow God to work in your life, you must let go of two major obstacles: pride and ego. These barriers prevent you from fully embracing God’s calling on your life and limit His transformative work within you.

James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Surrendering pride and ego is how you draw closer to God and strengthen your ability to resist the enemy.

1 Peter 5:6-7 reminds us, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you." Humility unlocks the power of submission. When we humble ourselves, we trust God’s timing and allow Him to elevate us according to His plan.

Let go of self-reliance and allow God's transformative work to take place in your life. Only when we empty ourselves of pride can we be filled with God’s grace and purpose.
