Today, I made a pretty emotional Instagram post.
It was a letter to my future self, reminding me to be grateful for how far I have come.
I remember two months ago looking at my Instagram views (2k-4k per video) and thinking, wow, that’s so cool.
Then the hedonic treadmill crept in, and I started wishing I could hit 10k.
A month ago, my quitting post blew up, and now I average just under 10k for most videos, with a few over 150k.
Yet, I can feel myself thinking, I just need to get all of them over 10k.
This experience has taught me how important it is to be grateful for every part of my journey.
Because I know that in a year’s time, I’ll be just as eager to reach a new goal.
