The goal of this group is to bring together people scarred by the 9-5 who want to start their own business. I want to build a community where you can meet people like yourself who want to work on things they love without a boss breathing down their neck. Intro yourself below and check out the other members: 1. Your name and location 2. Why you want to escape the 🐀 race? 3. What you're building/want to build? 4. What's the dream? In 2 years what would you be doing?

Are you thinking about starting content
Day 59...
Still waiting for this setting job to start Slightly worried about the fact it might not go ahead but I think that's the nature of online business and it is with a friend from my content community so hoping he won't stuff me over! In the meantime I recorded this video about how to work out exactly what you should be doing. More specifically, why using your innate skills and talents will be the best career decision you make. I think a lot of people are stuck in 9-5 jobs that waste their skills and potential E.g. I was doing excel and ppt analysis where as my skills come from speaking and interacting with people. Keen to hear what you think of the video!

Day 59...
Day 60
Massive news - looks like it’s go ahead on the setter role. I posted this YouTube (https://youtu.be/pPeg101Bftw?si=gHAiQ43AveKsu6f_) about how I planned to make 3k in the next month and it looks like we’re rocking and rolling with a job in sales. This gives me a nice amount of stability to build my content and social media (which is my real focus!) Have you ever done a sales job/sales focused job? How did you find it?

Day 60
61 Days
Today, I made a pretty emotional Instagram post. It was a letter to my future self, reminding me to be grateful for how far I have come. I remember two months ago looking at my Instagram views (2k-4k per video) and thinking, wow, that’s so cool. Then the hedonic treadmill crept in, and I started wishing I could hit 10k. A month ago, my quitting post blew up, and now I average just under 10k for most videos, with a few over 150k. Yet, I can feel myself thinking, I just need to get all of them over 10k. This experience has taught me how important it is to be grateful for every part of my journey. Because I know that in a year’s time, I’ll be just as eager to reach a new goal.
