Talking with Potential Sellers
I just received my first call back today from one of the mailers that I sent a couple of weeks ago. I am watching the video about how to purchase off market property and noticed that one of the questions to ask is "How much are you looking to sell the property for?" Wont they say, well you offered $6,000 in the letter, so that's what i would take"? Or they could also ask for a higher price? How do you navigate that?
Also, i noticed that the property is for sale with an agent. It says on Redfin that the property has been on the market for 253 days. I offered $6900. It looks like the owner paid $11000 for it in 2021. After looking at it on Google Earth, it looks like the property is low compared to the other properties next to it. I wonder if there could be significate dirt work required to make this property usable?
