I was talking with a friend that used to train mma, and he said that once you’re conditioned getting punched, even in the face, doesn’t hurt that bad. He is kinda odd though, and he likes pain. I mean so do I, which is why I like training to failure constantly. Do any of you know what he would be talking about with the ‘conditioning’? I condition my shins with a wooden dowel but that doesn’t seem to work very well for like the face or torso, and i condition my shins for the discipline.
