Personal preference or actual help? You decide...
When zoomed to a comfortable level in TV on the 1 hr chart, the vertical grid lines indicate the midnight and noon times of day. This doesn't serve me well, so I turned on the "Session break" feature in TV -- "blue lines" in the screenshot below.
I like how it "frames the trading days" on the 1 hr, and how it makes the New York session easier to find without turning on an indicator. With TV, it is very customizable so you can make the lines as predominant or subtle as you wish.
The second screenshot depicts how to activate it. The third screenshot shows how you can turn off the vertical grid lines. Please let me know what you think...
