Risk size - Can't do the $500:250

Hello team

I went through the course many times and I am still missing how to size my risk. My goal is 2:1 500:250 but I cannot find a way to size it to 500:250. it's either too low or too high. I am worry if my risk is not the same each and every trade I can loose or win more than the initial plan. HELP PLEASE
