A little manifesting/goals with day trading for the year thread
First, What are your day trading goals for the rest of the year?
Second, what are your more long term goals with day trading?
"They" say you have to be pretty specific with what you are manifesting and thought this might help.

  1. To practice live paper trading all of August and then to get a funded account in September. Maybe another by the end of the year.
  2. To go part with my 9 to 5, maybe by next summer and have day trading take me beyond what the 9 to 5 has me at.

dropping my 9-5 is a goal of mine as well! I have a daughter heading to college in a couple of years, so that may not allow me to hit the goal as quick as I want, but I am still setting a goal to be able to replace that income!

well maybe if u save like $50 each payout u can then go and get more accounts one by one and then you'll be extra golden.

  1. My day trading goals are to pass a few evaluation accounts and hopefully get to a payout on at least one account.
  2. My long-term day trading goals are to make enough money to pay off my debt.

  1. By the end of the year I'd like to have a couple PA accounts with a minimum $53k balance. Payout this year would be a great Christmas present, but if I hit that $53k point, I will have learned a lot and be able to project the earnings ramp to hit my BHAG:
  2. Replace my 9-5 income and "retire" early (i.e., make a career change to day trading

  1. To Practice, practice, practice on replay and live for August and Pass at least one eval before the end of the year.
  2. Long term I would like it day trading to pay off my debt and pay for my kids extra curricular activities. Daughter is really into baton and shes awesome, but its so damn expensive.

Hello! Love this question, it got me thinking.
  1. Continue to learn as much as possible and have at least 10 PA's by the end of the year.
  2. Pay debt/ savings fund, and definitely replace my 9-5 income and have more time to devote to family.

I'm new, and this may be lofty, but my goals are:
  1. To practice and be able to pass 2 evals by the end of next month. (October if I am not feeling comfortable)
  2. Because I have a decent job that allows me time to day trade while I am at work, I want to eventually be able to compensate for my girls income so she can leave her job, then hopefully not long after that be able to leave mine so that we can live simply and comfortably (along with going on a vacation here or there).

Great topic!
  1. Short term goal (this year): Use payouts from current PAs (2) to build to at least 250K to trade with (either 5 50K or any combo of accounts totalling 250K).
  2. Mid-term goal (within 2 years): Replace and exceed current 9-5 income
  3. Long-term: build a solid base for generational wealth

1.) "learn" how to day trade and balance it with my job (school administrator).
2.) pay for our dream home renovation without taking out a new mortgage (estimates put it at 160k, roughly doubling our current mortgage.)
