Michael Zau here in San Diego County. I've been in mortgage lending since 1996 although Ive been in a loan officer 3x every 8 years and I'm on my next iteration as the market changes in lending.
I didnt start investing till my realty completely failed in 2012 as my realtors and loan officers didnt produce the income that they were doing in the past. So even owning a small business with over 100 agents guarantees... zero passive income.
However owning the real property does generate the income. I currently own property, manage notes and just got my first STR going.
Looking to start my first interactive coaching company in real estate investing using my own investments as example units. Hopefully the failures that I've experienced will help those in the future in their own journey.
