Think about what you think about-
Have you stopped to think about your thinking lately? Our thoughts matter, and impact what say, believe, and how we act. Our thoughts become our reality and then our destiny; yes they have that much power! God knows every thought in our head, isn't that wild to think about? As I was doing a devotional from the Bible app, and doing some journaling, I found myself giving gratitude and praising Him, which always combat any negative thought that tries to enter in. Think about it, it is impossible to have an anxious or negative thought at the same time as giving thanks and praise! As we speak God's truth of every lie, “We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Here is today's devotional taken from the Bible app if you would like to start the full 6 day plan @YouVersion plan 'Speaking Life'. There is life-giving power in our thoughts. Our thoughts matter. Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) states, “For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Our thoughts matter as out of the abundance of our thoughts flow our words. The thoughts and inclinations of our heart shape the reality of who we are. They shape our thinking which will ultimately shape our words and therefore, our actions. What we say matters but what we think matters even more. Scripture tells us to think about, even dwell on, that which is praiseworthy. Do we actually invest in and prioritize this obedience? There are many books written that examine how our words are simply the vehicles that convey our thoughts and emotions. What you put in your mind has an effect on what you think. Does “trash in equal trash out?” If so, our thoughts should be considered our highest priority, especially since the health and welfare of our lives are the by-product. Our enemy wants our minds filled with all sorts of trash and vain imaginations. Let’s think about what we think about.

The Blessing of Daily Bible Reading: by Pastor Ed Newton
So good, had to share!! "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night."- Psalm 1:1-2 There’s something powerful about starting your day with God’s Word. When you open the Bible each day, you’re not just reading words on a page; you’re inviting God to speak directly into your life. This daily habit isn’t just a routine, it’s a source of blessing and transformation that reaches into every part of your life. When you make a commitment to read God’s Word daily, you’re setting yourself up to receive His guidance and wisdom. Each time you open the Bible, you’re allowing God to teach you, correct you, and prepare you for whatever lies ahead. Consistent time in Scripture also shapes your heart and mind. The more you immerse yourself in God’s Word, the more your thoughts, desires, and actions begin to align with His. You start to see the world through His eyes, understanding what truly matters and what is fleeting. This transformation doesn’t happen overnight, but with each day you spend in the Word, God is molding you into the person He’s called you to be. But the blessings of daily reading go beyond just guidance and transformation, they also bring peace and joy into your life. In a world that’s often chaotic and uncertain, God’s Word is a steady anchor. When you meditate on Scripture, you’re reminded of God’s promises and faithfulness, which brings a deep sense of peace, no matter what you’re facing. And with that peace comes a joy that isn’t dependent on your circumstances, but on the unchanging truth of who God is. God rewards those who diligently seek Him, and there’s no better way to seek Him than by reading His Word every day. As you make this a priority, you’ll find that the blessings overflow into every area of your life. Your relationship with God will deepen, your faith will strengthen, and your life will be enriched in ways you never imagined.

Go to God first - by Pastor Ed. Newton
Wanted to share today's devotional from Pastor Ed Newton. My prayer is that we become a people who go to God as an auto response, that we pray continually throughout the day, and seek Him in all things. One thing I know for sure, He always fills my cup and is THE source of truth that our souls long for. He gives clarity during uncertainty and peace that surpasses all understanding, and He promises to rescue and deliver those who call on His name. May we set our phones aside, and choose to go to Him first before calling a friend or scrolling on our phones. And even when we don't know what to pray or where to start, may we open His word, expecting Him to speak and nurture our soul with exactly what we need in the moment. Pastor Ed's devotional: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."- Proverbs 3:5-6 When problems arise, it's natural to want to talk to someone, to get advice or comfort from a friend, family member, or even social media. We live in a world where answers are just a click away—whether it's a quick search on the internet or scrolling through TikTok for a bit of distraction. But have you ever stopped to think about how often you turn to these sources before turning to God? It’s easy to seek out the opinions and advice of others. After all, they’re right there, ready to listen and offer their two cents. But no matter how well-meaning your friends and family are, or how many “life hacks” you find online, none of them can offer the wisdom and guidance that God provides. God knows every detail of your situation, every nuance of your heart, and He has the perfect plan for you. Yet, how often do we bypass the one true source of wisdom and peace? We get caught up in seeking validation, quick fixes, or just a sympathetic ear from everyone but God. And then, when things don’t go as planned, we wonder why. The truth is, when we prioritize everyone else’s voice over God’s, we’re setting ourselves up for confusion and disappointment.

Faith in God, Fear in the Lord
When I posture my heart in humility, and bow my head to pray, He responds with mercy, love, and kindness. This morning during my prayer time, I was lead to a few verses which centered around the fruit that comes from a healthy fear of the Lord. I am witnessing the fruit of the Spirit that comes from full submission and reverence that He is God, Almighty, all knowing and all powerful. May these prayer starters from Wanda Alger bring you the same comfort and peace they brought me today. Love you sisters. Stay strong, keep trusting the Lord, lean not on your own understanding. Keep running to Him, keep praising and your cup will overflow. He is pouring out His spirit like never before as we let go and empty ourselves. His mercies are afresh every morning and new wineskins are a real thing! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! 🙏🙌🏼 "Fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭33‬ “Fear of the Lord leads to life, bringing security and protection from harm.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬
