Ever caught yourself wondering if you're writing too much?
Here's your no-fluff guide to nailing copy length every time β¬οΈ
β It's probably TOO LONG if:
- It takes more than 2 thumb scrolls on a mobile
- Your CTA button isn't visible without scrolling
- You're listing more than 4 benefits
- You've got multiple paragraphs of backstory
β
It's likely the PERFECT lenght when:
- Hook visible instantly (no scroll)
- Main benefit clear in the first 2 lines
- Price/offer visible in one scroll
- CTA button visible in one scroll
Pro tip 1: Always read your ad out loud! The copy should flow like a real-life conversation!
If a sentence feels unnaturally long? Trim it down!
Pro tip 2: Run an experiment and eliminate some words or entire sentences.
If the ad still makes sense?
Congrats, you've just eliminated extra fluff and potentially increased the conversion rate! π
