7 steps to launch a copywriting career

here’s her 7 steps if she were to start from scratch:

1️⃣ STUDY COPY

subscribe to good newsletters and use “swiped.co” and read ad’s, emails and sales pages daily.

2️⃣ WRITE COPY.

3️⃣ ACCOUNTS.

4️⃣ NETWORK.

attend local entrepreneur events, free community calls and pay for a course to be in proximity.
build relationships with good questions and learning. reach out when the time is write, sorry right.

5️⃣ REACH OUT.

contact your connections. personalise it to them and their business, be curious, no pitching.
ask "do you know anyone that could use copywriting services?". it's indirect and not a pitch.

6️⃣ CALLS.

7️⃣ REFERRALS.

give value to the larger entrepreneurs that can give you access to more clients.
add value by helping with events, free emails/posts/courses/coaching.
build good will and ask for referrals when the trust is already there.
