🌴 Growth Strategy #1: Event Exchanges

🗓 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀

There are a two basic ways to exchange events:

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 #𝟭: Co-hosted Event ~ where two different group owners co-host the SAME event, and you promote the event in BOTH of your groups.

Note: this is the easiest type of event, because you're maximizing the number of people that will come to one event.

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲 #𝟮: Event Trades ~ where you trade a chance to host an event in someone else's group, in exchange for them hosting an event in your group at a different time.

Note: the advantage of this is to showcase your expertise to a new audience as a featured expert. Because you're being introduced as an expert to a new audience, you enter with authority because you stand out as having been chosen by the leader of that group as an expert worth featuring.

📅 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀

Here are a few event types you can create:

(𝟭) 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀: Where you teach something to the audience.

(𝟮) 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽: Where you leader the audience through a process interactively.

(𝟯) 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Where you host a networking session to connect with people for a specific purpose. The purpose is important and should be chosen intentionally to connect with the people you'd like to attract into your group, since this gives you an opportunity to personally invite new people to join your group during the event.

📝 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲? Make a post in your group's category titled "Seeking Event Exchange to for {Niche} Group." Link to this post that explains what an event exchange is, and explain your ideas for what type of event you'd like to offer, and what type of audience you'd like to present to. You can also comment on someone's group announcement post and ask if they're open doing an event exchange.

✨ 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: I've shared the basic types of events above that you can create for event exchanges.
