Does success come down to luck?👀✍️
Gooooood morning! I’m sitting on my balcony and the sun is beaming in my eyes so I’m squinting at the screen. My neighbors just let out their dogs to take their morning piss on this mat of grass that they’ve been trained to urinate on. They have these two little beige pugs named Ricco and Rocco. Those aren’t actually their real names but it’s what I would have named them. I’m going to steal them one day. Anyway, let’s talk about how to get lucky. Some people say luck doesn’t exist. Others believe everyone who’s successful gets lucky. In my opinion, both of the above statements are true, even though they’re contradictory. This is called a paradox, in case you slept through that part of English class. I watched a movie last night that had Miles Teller in it and began thinking about how you end up as a world famous actor. Sure, he’s great at what he does. But so are the tens of thousands of broke actors. There are plenty of people with the same look, talent, and work ethic. Why is he one of few who makes it? Is it luck? No. Well, yes. Well, kind of. If you run a quick Google search on Miles Teller, you’ll see that he made his first feature film in 2010. Three years later, he starred in “The Spectacular Now” which put him on the map. And then the film, “Whiplash” a year later was his big breakthrough. Now he’s one of the more popular actors and was recently in Top Gun with Tom Cruise. But you don’t hear about all the projects that flopped. From 2004-2010 he was in a bunch of movies neither of us have ever heard of. Then he had a few “big breaks” and his life changed forever. This is how success works. The majority of the time that you put in, especially in the beginning, will feel like it’s all for nothing. You’ll think to yourself, “why am I even working this hard? Nobody’s gonna notice me anyway.” It’s an uphill battle and you have no idea where the top of the hill is. You just keep climbing and hope that eventually you find it, which isn’t guaranteed.

I don’t know who needs to hear this...👀
I don’t know who needs to hear this, But your value as an individual is directly correlated to how much money you have in the bank. And before you start losing your mind that I just said that, stop and think about it for a second. Most of the time, those who are rich (Business owners, entrepreneurs etc.), have spent so much time acquiring skills that they have become indispensable. Or even if you want to look at it from a corporate perspective. Higher-paying jobs will always require a large skill set from the applicant. It is very rare that you see someone with zero skills at anything making a lot of money. And yes, I’m talking about the hawk tuah girl. Seriously what is wrong with our society… Anyway. My point still stands, the more value you have in the form of high-value skills and knowledge, the more you will get paid. In my circumstances, I chose to learn the ATM biz inside and out. And now I’m able to leverage those skills and that knowledge into cold hard cash every day through the machines I’ve set up. So just remember, skills pay bills. Talk to you tomorrow, Griff.

stop me if this sounds familiar...👀😁
Stop me if this sounds familiar: You clock off from a long, gruelling shift at your 9-5 and you’ve just about had enough. “I can’t keep doing this!” you say to yourself. The pain of staying where you are has officially grown larger than the pain of changing your situation. You stay up late that night, researching ways to quit your 9-5 and start your own business. You fall asleep, all these ideas floating around your head, and you’re so excited to wake up and finally change your life. And then you wake up the next morning. That deep pain of inadequacy you were experiencing yesterday has gone and now things really don’t seem that bad. “Why was I so worked up?” You ask yourself. After all, at least your job is reliable, right? And then you clock in for your shift that day. This cycle continues again and again. The problem is, you honestly don’t want it bad enough. And I know that sounds cliche to say, but it’s true. Because if you genuinely wanted to make a change in your life, then it would be all you thought about. Day in and day out. Right now, I’d say you are probably miserable and pissed off about your situation only 3 days a week. You need to be in a constant state of annoyance that your current experience on this earth does not match up to your idealised version of your reality. YOU SHOULD BE MAD. I sure as hell was when I was starting off. And that’s really the only way to make meaningful progress. Anyway, that’s enough yapping from me. I’ll talk to you tomorrow. Griff P.S Sub to my youtube I’m dropping more content on there soon :)

SKILLS PAY BILLS 💵 🤑
Skills pay bills :) Corny but it’s true, for online business and the ATM biz. Is it true for regular 9-5’s? Hell no. Think about it. There is a direct correlation between your work output and the amount of money you receive as an ATM biz owner. The more machines you set up, the more you get paid. Now let’s look at your regular office worker operating in the claims department of a sub-par insurance company. (Idk, I thought of the most boring job ever, sorry if you work in the claims department btw) If you work here, and you are putting 100% effort into your work, you’ll almost always net precisely the same amount of income as everyone else working there. You’ll even be earning the same amount as the people who are putting in 5% or 10%. So why would you everyone try to work harder if you were trapped in the 9-5 rat race? “Hey I might get a raise if I work hard!” Yeah maybe, but you also might not. Whereas if I work extremely hard and put 100% effort into setting up 5 more ATMs in one month, I’m guaranteed to increase my income in the long run. So what’s the take away here? Only put effort into things that you have a majority say in the outcome of said effort. If I told you that if you do 200 push-ups then I will give you $1000, that’s a lot different to telling you the same thing but if at the end of the push-ups there’s a strong chance you might get nothing. Talk to you tomorrow, Griff
