GDPR Rules (UK)

Is anyone here in the UK or deal with customers in the UK. I'm curious what data protection and GDPR methods you think are needed. I had a potential client ask us about the GDPR and data protection as he doesn't feel comfortable sharing customer data with a third party without their explicit consent.

Would love to know how you guys would handle a situation like this.

(The pitch is Car dealership, DBR, DFY appointment booking, 10 appts in 14 days, commission on a pay per booking basis)
