What are they thinking?
Now I'm not saying that you have to be some type of psychic mind reader. But we've all heard the term “buyers are liars.” Sales is an emotional game.
I see a lot of newer sales people take all of the words of their prospect seriously. Now that is a good thing.
But the most important thing to look for is NOT what they, but how they FEEL about what they’re saying
What is their emotional state? Are they angry
Are they confused? Are they threatened?
If they say, “email me”, of course it does mean email but ask yourself, why is this prospect telling me this.
What emotional state are they currently in?
