Question for GHL Affiliates

I wanna get more experience with GHL projects while making some money. Last year I saw Steven Larson's event where he mentioned building free funnel in exchange of client signing up with affiliate link.

I was thinking about doing same for GHL affiliate but not sure how to actually execute this idea. I posted this as a question in some GHL group but admins removed so thought I would ask here.

What do you guys suggest? TIA
