0:00 Hey , this is Joe Apfelbaum. Thank you for letting me know that you're interested in a profile, Rose. So let me review your profile, compare it to my profile, and give you a couple tips.
0:08 Number one, do you see where it says LinkedIn Trainer here? And do you see this little, uh, sound thing next to the word LinkedIn Trainer?
0:14 This is called a voice pronunciation. You can add it right next to your name through the mobile app. And this is a custom pronoun.
0:20 So when you're editing your name by clicking on the pencil, you'll be able to add a custom pronoun with your major key.
0:24 Instead of writing him, her, you can press custom and then add your keyword there. I think it's a clever way for you to be able to really stand out.
0:31 The other thing is you can add a little link. Do you see over here there's a little link under where it says Brooklyn, New York?
0:35 You can add a little link over there. Right now you have the Visit My Website button, but if you edit it and change it into a link, it'll show up as a text link over here, which is SEO friendly.
0:43 So I do recommend you do that. If you go to your About section, I love the way you have bold text here.
0:48 And by the way, if you want to be able to create more bold text, you can use our text formatter tool to add bold text.
0:55 But if you make everything bold, it doesn't stand out. So I would make some things bold and some things not bold.
1:02 Also, Unicode is not necessarily read by accessibility. So be careful how much Unicode you're actually using to make things bold.
1:09 I love your services page. However, it's missing graphics. You see the way mine has graphics. I'd recommend adding some graphics like a video or like an image or graphic or something to it.
1:18 Your featured is okay. Um, I would add something that has, let me look over here about this featured. I don't know if you're strategically doing featured, but I like doing like a video on my featured, something that really stands out.
1:32 Like I have my demo of my business and I have my business networking one sheet here. This is good that you have some activity here, but I'm not really sure if that is the most strategic thing to put in your featured items here.
1:44 Um, I wouldn't just put every post there, but I would put things that are strategic that you want people to do.
1:49 For example, learn about your business or sign up to your newsletter, some call to action, a demonstration video, something like that.
1:55 Um, also, you see the way I have videos and images and articles and more and documents and events. You only have image, you only have comments, videos, and images.
2:04 So you can create a document as a PDF and upload it. And you'll have the document option. You can create an event.
2:10 You can create an article. Those things are missing from your profile. I do recommend you do those things to increase the amount of things that you have on your profile.
2:18 Your experience is missing information. Do you see the way I have a blurb of content here? I would tell you to add a blurb of content under that.
2:24 Under your experience. Uhm, if you want you can also add images. You see the way I added images and graphics and so on.
2:30 So, I'm going to be adding more graphics and more images to my Evi AI. Uhm, but you can add some to yourself.
2:38 And the same thing with your education. You can add content. You see the way I added content here to my education.
2:42 You can add content as well. Uhm, if you go to your skills, I'm not sure if those are the best skills that you want to promote.
2:47 For me it's prompt engineering. And artificial intelligence. But if those are the best ones, keep them on top. If you want something else, move those to the top.
2:55 And also the last time you got a recommendation was 2021. Get a 2025 recommendation. You see I have one from 2025.
3:01 So make sure to get at least one recommendation for this year. Uhm, and otherwise it looks good. Your profile, your profile looks totally solid.
3:09 So well done. I'm going to just check your contact info real quick just to double check. Make sure these are the correct, uhm, websites that you want people to go to.
3:16 Often people don't check their websites for many years. Make sure this is the correct email you want people to email.
3:20 Uhm, so this way, uhm, when people email you, they're sending it to the right place. Uhm, I'm going to also check your about section just to see if you have call to action here.
3:29 And it looks like you do have your Calendly link here, which is awesome. If you want people to email you or call you and you don't want them to Calendly you, add that information there as well.
3:37 Anyway, I hope this is a helpful, uhm, tips. I hope these tips are helpful for you and you enjoyed watching this roast.
3:44 If you, anybody else watching this wants me to roast them, let me know. I'd be happy to roast you. But I think from this roast alone, you can learn exactly what to do.
3:51 If you need to optimize your profile with Evi AI, on the back end, you just go here where it says profile optimizer, and then you put in your goal.
3:59 Let's say, for example, lead gen. your time. Own, for example, friendly, you select your persona that talks a little bit about your business.
4:05 And then you tell it a little bit about yourself by hitting that mic and talking about your business. It generate and it'll write a whole about section for you.
4:11 Anyway, thanks for listening to this. Thanks for watching this and I'll see you on the next roast boom.
