My first goal on Etsy was to list as much stuff as I could, by using print on demand products, and by putting in the hard work and using the numbers game of loads of products what could go wrong with this perfect formula, absolutely everything.
I believe the above is a common pitfall of many sellers first starting out on Etsy, there is a rush of excitement to make the first sale.
First and foremost, think of your Etsy store more like a physical store than an online store.
You don't just open a shop and without an attractive sign outside, or just dump products on a dusty shelve.
People just won't walk in.
So first off, learn how to get really good at making a crystal clear banner for your shop, and images for your products, I will help you do this in another thread using a little trick in Canva and another secret platform.
Secondly, like it or not you need to ask peoples opinion, something people get protective over when starting a business, it's like having a baby and being frightened someone is going to call it ugly. But don't worry it's called constructive criticism, that will pay massive dividends in the long run, and that's what this community is here for.
So welcome aboard Etsy Vault were you fast track learning how to make sales with Etsy.
Stay tuned for the next thread on how to make the perfect banner and product images. I promise you won't be disappointed.
