The value of being content in obscurity is that praise and hate become the same, and neither affects your actions or self-worth. Don't let anyone validate you more than you do yourself; you achieve that through proud actions daily. When praise feels good and can lift you up, the flip side of that double-edged sword is that hate can also bring you down. Be unmoved by both. The only validation that should matter is the validation you give yourself through your daily actions and holding your word to yourself with self-discipline.
