Starting a business as a young mom with young kids has been anything but easy.
Beyond the practical challenges—like never having enough hours in the day—my biggest struggle has been making sure my energy is focused on the right things.
I constantly worry about whether my priorities are in line and whether building a business might take away from my number one priority—my family. And honestly? Sometimes the boundaries do get blurred. Sometimes I feel insecure, wondering if I’m giving enough time to my family.
But every now and then, I get these little reminders—silent messages from God—that I’m doing okay.
Recently, during our family tradition of sharing what we’re thankful to God for, my 4-year-old said, “I thank God for my mommy.”
It was the sweetest thing—and in that moment, it felt like a little hug from God saying, “Tamar, you’re doing a beautiful job. Keep going.”
I don’t always get to hear those affirmations. More often, it’s the complaints—“Mommy, you forgot this,” or “Mommy, I don’t like that.” But moments like this one? They remind me to keep pushing forward.
So if you’re reading this and feel torn between chasing your dreams and showing up for your family, I want to remind you to look for those messages. They’re there—little gifts of encouragement to remind you that you’re exactly where you need to be.
So, when the lines get blurred this is your reminder: You’ve got this. Keep going💪🚀
