There’s a huge copywriting lesson I got from watching TONS of YouTube videos, reading books and getting numerous courses...
And It's pretty simple:
Don't be a QUITTER.
That's right. It might seem generic but it's really no secret.
The best way to getting clients is to keep hustling every day, no matter what.
You see, most copywriters are like yo-yo dieters. They work as humanly hard as possible for a few weeks, then they give up and binge on Netflix...
They think they can time the market and catch the perfect wave of demand.
But they're wrong.
The market doesn't care about your timing.
It just doesn't really care :)
Sorry to be blunt but... It only cares about your TIME.
The more time you spend in the market, the more chances you have to land clients.
It's like fishing. You can't catch anything if you don't cast your line.
Prospects are ALWAYS looking for copywriters who can solve their problems.
But they won’t find you if you’re hiding under a rock.
You just have to be CONSISTENT.
Like a gym bro who works out every day.
Not a couch potato who binge-watches Netflix once a month. (used to be this guy 😂)
That’s why you have to:
• Outreach. Reach out to prospects every day. Don't be spammy or pushy. Just be friendly and helpful. (a mistake I've always been making)
• Follow up. Don't let your leads go cold. Follow up with them until they say yes or no. Don't be annoying or desperate. Just be persistent and polite. (I learned this the hard way)
• Provide value. Don't just pitch your services. Provide value to your prospects. Show them how you can solve their problems and make their lives easier.
Do these three things every day, and I guarantee you'll get more clients than you can handle.
...
AND if you don't believe me?
Try it out and see for yourself.
But don't just stop there.
Keep going.
Cus the more you do it, the better you'll get at it.
And the better you get at it, the more money you'll make.
So don't be a quitter.
Be a winner.
And remember:
It's not about timing the market, it's about time in the market.
Got it?
Good.
Now go get 'em.
PS. I actually got most of this lessons form Tyson4d (a youtube n' one of the best copywriters I've seen in the YouTube sea)
Whats the best outreach method?
