Well... Here is the story how I got the "Nick Name" Mighty... 🎵 The Legend of "Mighty" 🥁 Picture this: Seven years ago, I was living the dream in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of a rising band called PzzyFoot (yeah, I know... not the greatest name 😅). But let me tell you – we were making waves! Not only did we hit the radio waves after our album dropped, but we were crowned the #1 Pop Band in Atlanta in 2017! 🏆 Imagine driving down Highway 85 and seeing your own face plastered on a billboard promoting a nightclub! I couldn't even walk through the local mall without fans stopping me for autographs! Now, about my name journey... 📝 I started as Joey Smith, then transformed into Joseph Kahn (sounds fancier, right? ✨). The change wasn't just for show – my son being "the third" was creating some real confusion in the business world. I mean, I couldn't blame the kid for a name I gave him! But here's where it gets interesting... 🎸 During one particularly memorable tour night, my bass player kept pushing me to unleash my full potential behind the drums. The venue's sound system wasn't doing justice to my drumming, and he just kept challenging me: "EMBODY THE ALL MIGHTY!" 💪 Well... challenge accepted! 🔥 What happened next became band legend. In one explosive performance, I channeled something primal and powerful – absolutely demolishing a cymbal, a snare drum head, AND a bass drum head! Talk about going all out! 🤘 Standing amid my battlefield of broken drums, our lead singer took one look at the destruction and declared: "MIGHTY JOE!" 👑 And just like that, a legend was born.
