Beehiiv acquires Typedream
Looks like beehiiv is becoming a creator first platform rather than newsletter first https://mail.bigdeskenergy.com/p/beehiiv-acquires-typedream
This makes total sense to me and where we were building the Swwwap.com platform to be focussed on assets, but then realized that it’s the people trading them that we should focus on.
Here’s how I see this whole space in 2024:
Email and websites, like social, are channels to provide value and build audience
Those channels can be directed into a community where connections provide more value
The community can be directly monetized or used to sell products and generate leads for services
