Navigating the waters of you….
If you are anything like I was a few years ago, then you might find yourself at a place where you are asking who you really are. Not the basics, like, for example, “Im a student, or “I’m a mom and a teacher”, but the deeper you. The core you. Who you really are at the core of your being. What inspire you, what do you yearn for in this life? What lights you up and drives your passion for living life? If you’ve ever asked yourself these questions then you will know, that sometimes you aren’t 100% certain about those things. Maybe these are questions that you’ve never really asked yourself before. However, if you truly want to manifest your most fulfilling and happiest life, then these are so important for you to understand.
When I started on my self discovery journey, I found that journaling really helped me to explore my thoughts and feelings and get into the deepest parts of who I was. You can explore thoughts and feelings through journaling in private and without fear of judgement or criticism, and really just be free to express anything about yourself that comes up. Journaling really is a great way to process emotions and explore things about yourself in a more meaningful way. It also serves as a record that you can go back to and look at as many times as you want when you need clarity or you are working on changing things in your life and want to see how you have changed. I would recommend it to anyone who is working on themselves and striving to make productive changes in their life.
About 6 months ago, I published a journal that gives you a list of really deep personal questions that helps you unlock the deeper parts of what makes you the person you are. It is the same list of questions I asked myself when I was just starting to really look at who I was, and who I wanted to become. It also gives you about 200 blank pages after the initial interview section just to write freely about whatever else you want to journal about. I’m going to post the link below if you are curious and interested in interviewing yourself at this level below. But, whether you choose to use this journal, or another one, I would highly recommend this process as you are getting started on this journey, it will really help you to figure out what you truly want and don’t want in your life, and can serve as an anchor as you navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of changing your life! Hope this helps!
