Let's Share Our Financial Goals! 🚀
I'm a believer that if we share our goals, they will happen faster.
Why?
Because once you share how you plan on keeping yourself accountable, not only do you have to follow through for yourself, but you'll have cheerleaders, wanting you to succeed, every step of the way.
This is the type of community I want us to have.
A rising tide lifts all boats, as they say.
No goal is too big, small, stupid, irrelevant. So let's push each other.
In one of the course videos, I asked you to share your short term, medium term and long term goals using the SMART financial goal framework. If you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out here.
I'm going to share mine in here, and keep you updated as I progress through them (or try to). And I encourage you to do the same in your own post.
Here are mine!
Short Term Goal
We need to save $625/month for the next 12 months ($7,500) for half of what was quoted for a new roof because the pros don’t think it’ll last 5 more years 😬
Medium Term Goal
In the next 5 years, I need to make 2x annually what my wife and I are currently making so I can tell her she doesn’t have to work anymore if she doesn’t want to 😭
Long Term Goal
In the next 10 years, we want to pay off our mortgage (multiple $100k’s) so we can save $100k+ of interest and become financially free 🏡
