This thread is for the episode, "Creative Monetization Ideas: High Ticket & Premium Priced Offers (Part 3)"
🎧 You can find this episode by searching for The Mariah Coz Show on your favorite podcast app!
➡️ I'd love to know - what did you think? Any insights, questions or takeaways you'd like to share in the comments?
In this episode, I’m sharing more creative monetization ideas for creators - specifically with a focus on more high ticket, high touch, premium offers that can work as either a one time purchase or a subscription recurring revenue model. If you love high touch delivery, working with less clients but in a closer capacity, if you love coaching and giving personal feedback, you’ll get lots of ideas. If you have a smaller audience and need more low volume but premium priced ideas, this is perfect for you.
This is part 3 in a 3-part series, so definitely listen to the first 2 parts if you haven’t, for tons of fresh, new ideas for monetizing your business and audience that will get your gears turning.
In this episode:
  • Why we are tempted to include “everything and the kitchen sink” in our high ticket offer, when really keeping it simple is what our clients want
  • How I’ve embraced a “less is more” approach, having built a super “all inclusive” huge program before
  • How to make your premium offer stand out by making 1-2 key components the star of the show
  • Giving you the permission you didn’t know you needed to do less, focus on just your zone of genius, and stop stuffing things you don’t even like into your programs
  • What clients are really looking for in a premium, high touch offer now
  • The unexpected opportunities in being laser focused on a simple high touch offer (referral partners and collabs, yay!)
  • 3 concrete, unique high ticket subscription offers you can create and how to structure them (with examples)

LOVE the idea with the community + DM support, that helps me with figuring out the model for my new business.
Thank you for taking the time to break all of these down and with realistic examples.
I've already got an idea of how this is all going to work together- high ticket, low ticket. A product suite that's built in a way that works- not just for my clients but for me as well.

I love to hear that!! I think these ideas just make it more tangible to see how we can combine both.
I am thinking more about my product suite too and thinking about:
  • Monetize at $99/month - curriculum/private podcast/community (+ skool) - sort of like your all access pass because it includes any one-time purchase products we would offer
  • a hybrid small mastermind group that is group + 1:1 combined (capped at like 16 people)
  • one-off small digital products for sale here in the CP community classroom, like $20-$200 mini courses and resources/templates (when skool rolls out one time payments for courses in groups soon)
Feeling good about it!!

I love this suite idea! The one I'm envisioning is similar.. going to delve into a mind-map for it or maybe go buy some posterboard + post-it notes to really visualize it. I think it's super smart to have the one-off options as well.

the idea of individualized reviews really stood out to me in this one as a way to leverage some of my professional (day job) expertise in my own business as I continue to build a reputation in creative/crafting creator spaces. I have a ton of experience related to many things that creative business owners need to do (like survey their audience) and those are things I could leverage as more of a consultant or reviewer, without having to build an entire new business around it.

Totally makes sense to have a community but also have DM support. I like that idea!

right! For certain niches that have that nuance, needing both camaraderie and privacy, it can work well

I know my niche isn't one that brings top dollar on its own, but I feel if I can create an offer that helps others without breaking the bank (their bank to be precise) then the rest will look after itself. I have a lot of life experiences in my niche, and helping others avoid the mistakes I made could easily be worth far more to them than I think.
Offering a more personalized experience to paid memberships has the potential of earning more while doing less, which frees up my time to enjoy life. It's easy to get burnt out by trying to do all the things (something I still struggle with).

This was SUCH a helpful series. I completely resonated with the LESS is MORE and didn't realize the overwhelm of creating an "everything and the kitchen sink" offer is what has subconsciously kept me from really starting, despite being crystal clear about who I want to help and why I am best to help. So thank you. Your outline above detailing how you see your product offer suite coming together is really helpful too.
