What is the craic with silent lurkers but members of Shopify/dropshipping groups?

I have noticed a trend of random people joining my community.

Suspiciously low skool activity but there seems to be an unusual trend. They often are members of lots of dropshipping/Shopify communities.

One of them tried to offer me to start my own drop shipping store and put me in contact with someone.

I have kicked them all out but definitely something dodgy going on here. Whether they are real people or AI accounts.

But seems to be there tactic is to join small groups then perhaps sell scams to members.

Anyone else noticed this trend?
