Not Being Notified For New Post Comments

We're running into an issue where if someone posts, then we reply to the post and if they don't reply to our comment as a reply but instead as a new comment on the post, we won't be notified and won't know about their new comment to be able to reply to it.

The only workaround I've found is to turn on the notification bell for every post, however this gets to be pretty cumbersome with volume. Any fixes for this or other easier workarounds that anyone knows of?

*Wish there was a way we could switch a setting that every post we comment on the bell is automatically turned on.
