Logistical q: I gifted people 1 month, now how do I switch to paid?

Okay I let clients in a current program have access to my paid group for a month for free (they knew this was happening and they would switch to paid at end of october.) Now I want to switch them to paid. Do I need to delete them and have them rejoin with paid? Will they lose all their posts etc? or will it come back?
