Charlie Munger (Warren Buffet's long-time business partner) uses inversion thinking to solve problems. Instead of asking, "How do I succeed?" he asks, "How do I fail?" By thinking of ways things can go wrong, he avoids mistakes. He works backward to remove risks and problems.
