Issue with phantom membership request

Team,

I got 2 random consecutive membership requests from folks who hadn't gone through our sales cycle.

So I deleted them.

Unfortunately there seems to be a bug that still shows as though "there a pending membership requests", even though there are truly none.

Let me know how to fix this. Thank you
