Firstly, I don't have anything to sell. No course or paywall. I saw post about people using this community as a way to promote their "thought leadership" and agree the linkedin vibe is not cool. Honestly I just want you guys to stop burning your money on meta ads π€£
I work full time at a marketing agency as an account manager and handle about 13k/month in Meta (facebook) ads.
None of my clients are on Skool. But we have a couple of creators selling courses and doing very well. We've helped them build out funnels using lead magnets and email nurture campaigns.
Posting this to ask if the skool community wants to know how we run our funnels profitably for these course creators. It seems a lot of people here are new to ads and just burning their money, looking at the wrong metrics and are just blundering the whole game in general honestly (no offence).
The basics
Creator #1 -
August 1 - Nov 2
9k in ad spend, 42k in revenue
Funnel overview:
Ad with CTA directed to free lead magnet
Free lead magnet with email sign up (mini course)
$20 Initial offer
$400 course (Usually purchased 7-10 days after lead magnet sign up)
Creator #2:
July 1- Nov 2
17k in ad spend 58k in revenue (with about another 20k projected from LTV of customers)
Funnel overview
Ad with CTA directed to free lead magnet
Free lead magnet with email sign up (1h webinar video and 36 page PDF download)
Sales page for $3000 course (with payment options)
If your skeptical, cool you should be. There's a lot of smoke and mirrors in the marketing world and people claiming that they are running ads or making money when their not. Anyone can post a screenshot of analytics or write what I just did.
If I make this overview the goal will be to give you the tools to be successful, not to get you to pay me.
So: Do you guys want a quick breakdown of our winning strategy and how I would set this up for a Skool group?
Let me know if you want this, I've been thinking about making a video on it for some friends who have been asking anyway.
If there's enough interest, I'll just post a youtube video and share it with ya'll. Thats it. Peace.
