Many successful leaders are known to be early risers and find that mornings provide quiet, uninterrupted time for strategic thinking, exercise, or planning. Years ago Mark Victor Hansen told me he gets up at 4:00 AM every day and spends the first 30 minutes meditating. I wake up at 4:00 AM every day to meditate and exercise. Of course that means going to bed around 9:00 PM. Studies show that mornings are often associated with improved focus, productivity, and a proactive mindset, which can set a positive tone for the day. Change is difficult but try being an early riser and see how well your day goes.
