Where do I start?
Hey, just looking for some advice.
For the last 7 years I run a seasonal subcontracting business mostly installing retractable awnings.
I do ok, but really want to start to do my own builds and make something substantial.
So much so, at age 52 , last September, I went back to school to brush up on my installation skill set.
I enrolled into a 2 yr Construction Carpentry course. I am in 2nd semester of 4 semester course and I am loving it. I will be a qualified construction technicain when it done.
I have been learning everything from reading blue prints, estimating job, building foundations and general residential framing builds. Im actually a A student ( go figure)
But the more I learn, the more badly I want to dive into a build but I've always had issues with were to start because of financial limitations.
Any recommendations/ thoughts to help over come the limitations and dive into a small investment build?
