Alright, I'll be the first to introduce myself.

I'm Devon, founder of Awake Happy & the guy behind the scenes, and alongside Matt from Nature Backs.

Started Awake Happy back in 2020, building it up with just my own two hands. It's been full of highs and lows, but Instagram's been our main hangout for a while. Lately, we've been spreading our wings, trying out new channels, and the Shop app has actually been doing really well for us lately. Built a solid rep with over lots of on-site reviews and a glowing Trust pilot.

I live up in Cazadero, north of the Bay Area, juggling life as a new dad and squeezing in time at my small shop. It's where I pack some orders or sometimes just pace around, deep in thought about the next big move for Awake Happy.

Before Awake Happy came to life, I ran an e-commerce store selling pet gear. It was going great but eventually Amazon fees ate into my profits. That venture taught me heaps about not putting all my eggs in one basket. It led me to explore what really matters to me - mindfulness, spirituality, and connecting with people on a deeper level.

That's how Awake Happy was born. My first shirt, "Intrinsic Awareness," hit it off and made me realize I was onto something special. I've poured everything I have into this, from web design to ensuring our product pages are spot-on.

I've certainly learned that I don't really mesh well with most agencies & marketers offering their services just never really panned out for me. What does work consistently though is chatting with a fellow business owner over a coffee, sharing ad account screenshots, and brainstorming our next moves. Seriously does the trick every time.

That's why The Breakroom exists. It's a space for us to ditch the noise and get real about what's actually working in our businesses. I'm all in on opening up the Awake Happy playbook, sharing the wins, the losses, and everything in between.

So, that's a slice of my story. Looking forward to getting to know each of you, sharing insights, and growing our businesses together.
