MCFC scored a couple early goals making it look like they were going to coast the game comfortably. However, after sharpening up in the early stages Afristan scored some brilliant goals securing control of the game and asserting their dominance.

Afristan went into the second half with a good lead and continued to exert their dominance on MCFC. MCFC did score in the second half however they were no where near the level of sharpness of Afristan. Afristan controlled the remainder of the game and played some brilliant defensive and attacking football.

Kess was part of this throughout the whole game, hardly making any mistakes. He went onto receiving the MOTM.
