How I hit quota 4 Quarters straight in 4 steps
(I never missed quota and hit it every month of my sales career)
These were my results:
SDR Q2 2023 = 133%
SDR Q3 2023 = 121%
SDR Q4 2023 = 133%
AE Q1 2024 = 141.8%
So let’s go into how I did it
  1. Account Prioritization
Which accounts are most likely to book meetings.
Look at the data from your previous booked meetings or the teams and look for patterns:
  • What was the headcount size?
  • What industry was it?
  • What were they struggling with?
Always use previous data, data doesn’t lie and will paint a clear picture on what your true ICP is and who to target.
Once you have this data you can go outbound and build a list of similar companies.
  1. Have a Reason to Reach Out
“Saw you are the CFO” is not a good enough reason to contact people
Build lists with a reason to reach out like:
  • Previous closed lost deals
  • People who downloaded resoruces
  • Companies where the team has grown
Always lead with your research and tie it into what could be a priority
  1. Use Your Best Channel
20% of your input leads to 80% of your output
I always did multi channel but I realized email was my best by far
So I focused on sending more emails
Every channel is important but leverage which one works the best for you.
  1. Track everything
What gets measured gets improved
Your numbers paint a picture.
You can see which areas are going great and which ones need work.
This means you can truly improve on your weakest areas, but also find the areas where you crush it to double down on.
NEVER discredit your numbers
My biggest piece of advice.
Just turn up and work like it is your first day every single day.
Massive input = massive output.
I'll be posting daily content here so let me know what you want to see next!
