My fave was how influencers try to capture the spotlight with killer posts that end up being the influencer doing a Kill Bill session in the kitchen with a broken AI post. It's time to hold your phone upright like it’s 2015! 💥 Company pages—Once adored, now... less so. Use them for thought leadership, not a sales pitch. 🤔 Richard's Challenge: Your profile and content strategy must be on point. Visitors will check out your posts before they even glance at your profile. My question is: When they do, what jaw-dropping brilliance will they discover about you? 💡 Content Strategy Breakdown: I love my Granny - this is comedy folks. 💥 Educational post (Max reach): “5 Ways to Get Granny to Nowheresville—Better, Faster, Cheaper!” 💥 Best practice post (Use case): “How We Gave Granny That Final Nudge Over the Hill and Into Nowheresville.” 💥 Strategic content (Expert mode): “The Ultimate Guide to Granny-Pushing—We Know Every Pothole and Rock on the Way Down.” 💥 Conversion post (CTA time!): “Looking to send someone to Nowheresville? We’ve got you covered. Faster than you think, cheaper than you expect, and NO refunds. Ever.” 💪😜

So begins a fascinating paragraph from Dave Lakhani's book "Subliminal Persuasion." He goes on to say "... but the last time I checked, your livelihood and mine was a deadly serious game, one we all hope to win." "You are about to enter the arena of the winner, and you'll experience firsthand how these people who control the world around them think, how they act, and what tools of success they leverage to get what they want from you and from me." Truth be told, this is not the book Dave wanted to write. But his publisher wouldn't publish the book as Dave wanted it to be. It was "too edgy, too dangerous" But Dave decided to reveal the most cutting-edge subliminal persuasion techniques anyway. And I noticed Steve uses some of these techniques in his Magic 8 Email System. So it's no wonder that email sequence is so powerful and so successful. I advise every member of APES to put down your bananas for a while and do everything you can to get access to that system, and then utilize it to make a small (or large) fortune with it That's what I plan to do.

Dave Lakhani was many things. Yes, he was brilliant marketer, but he was also one of the most genuine and giving people you'd ever meet. He was a big guy. Imposing stature. Bald head and usually a serious expression on his face. It would be very easy and natural to get intimidated by him... until the first time he opened his mouth and spoke with you. Then you'd instantly feel at ease as Dave always made the conversation about you. Dave had a rough childhood. He was raised in a religious cult. At 16, he ran away, left his mother behind because she wouldn't leave the cult. But Dave knew his future would not be what he wanted if he stayed. Dave made it his life's mission to understand how his mother, a very smart woman, could fall under the spell of such evil people. He studied persuasion and wrote a book: Persuasion: The Art of Getting What You Want. The book revealed several tactics for "getting what you want". But the book came with a warning to use the information responsibly. Because getting people to do what you want can be a very powerful and deadly skill. Dave poses the question: "What's the difference between persuasion and manipulation?" His answer came down to 1 simple word... "Intent".
