Pricing strategies
Hello everyone, I hope you're having a beautiful day wherever you are! I don't want to spam the group with my questions every day, but I was wondering if you have any specific pricing strategies.
I started out by pricing my digital designs fairly, I think, and based on what other stores price theirs, too. But then I realized that it's mostly only thanks to the sales I organize that I get more purchases, and I really don't make much (if anything) when I offer 35-45% off.
There's also a theory that people like a higher discount, so it actually makes more sense to have a higher priced item and organize bigger sales (percentage wise). In some niches, I saw products with sales of 70% off (insane!).
What is your opinion of this, do you price your products higher or lower? I feel like people don't respond well when you give them just 10% off.
