How to Create Hyperrealistic Fantasy Characters
[UPDATE: Final edit of the book is posted here - just download the zip file here and you'll have the latest, I also added the upscale example images and starter prompt images in a folder inside the zip.]
Hey folks, this is a short ebook tutorial I created a few days ago. The workflow is specific to Leonardo, but the prompts themselves work well in the other major engines and are easily customized due to the "variable structure".
It's not anything really groundbreaking, this is just one of my processes. I walk you through the steps with one prompt, for a female adventurer character; additional prompts for several character types using this template - rogue, mage, knight, warlock, sorceress, etc. - are included in the Appendix.
Any and all feedback is welcome! If something's missing, not clear, too wordy, too many steps etc, please feel free to say so. I want this to be useful.
Two things to note: 1) I think I need to work on the text layout for the cover; 2) the Variable table on page 6 could use some improvement, I have a feeling it might be difficult to read.
You are free to use the prompts for personal or commercial images, all I ask is that you please not share them outside this group. Also, please do not share the PDF, it is still a work in progress.
(Tip: mix in words and phrases from the oil painting prompt that I posted in the Image Prompts category for some vintage RPG flavor!)
Thanks for checking this out. I hope you enjoy it!
