Our CSR Agritech Cohorts are trailblazing Innovators with the urge to positively use technology to change agriculture. And true to fact, the transformation expected in the African Agricultural space to drive the 2030 projected $1T economy is enormous. Currently there are 2 Innovations currently ongoing but that''s hardly enough. Indeed we will be looking at tens if not hundreds of new startups in the coming days and weeks. Welcome to the SIYA Online Community. This is our official forum for all friends, supporters and cheerleaders of SIYA. SIYA trains, coaches and mentor our students in both free and paid Intermediate and Masterclass Agripreneur Courses.. To give practical learning experience to our learners we produce and manage the SIYA weekly Organic basket for our health conscious families. The SIYA Agritech is our CSR program that helps our cohorts innovate and develop their startups into successful ventures.

How do I join a category?

SIYA is acronym for Summer Institute for Youthful Agripreneurs. Agripreneurship, like any business venture can be lonely, very expensive and lead to outright pains, losses and regrets. Or it can be profitable bliss, fun and joy. I should know this because for over 20 years this has been my journey. It is my story. From the wheat fields of Maasai Mara, Narok; to the plains of Isinya, Kajiado farming both local and horticulture export crops; to running a packhouse at the Athi River EPZ processing crops destined for EU and Middle East export markets; and now pioneering a Syntropic Agroforestry farm in the slopes of Aberdares overlooking the beautiful Lake Ol Boro Sat in Nyandarua. I dare proclaim that i think I know agribusiness. Or at least am a good student. You are here because undoubtedly you are an Agripreneurship enthusiast. We are all here to learn from one another. And as you may already have realized the agripreneurship journey is never truly over. You learn every day. And as long as you are a good student we will all learn from one another. It is said that when the student is ready the teacher will appear. Share freely. Tell us your story. Bring forth your thoughts. Here you will make life long friends. You will learn great life lessons some beyond Agribusiness. You will explore ad interrogate your ideas openly. We welcome and hole each other's hand here. No question is stupid. And no answer is the absolute truth. We respect one another. And because its agripreneurship that has brought us together, we are apolitical. We are all equal and we keep things professional.
