My first automated content creation system: From Youtube videos to X Posts
Been cooking up something with my developer over the past few days.
How it works:
  • I drop a YouTube link (long form or short form from another creator) into my Slack.
  • It transcribes the video.
  • It turns that into: 3 short Twitter/X posts (100–200 words). One long-form post, all written like me (using my tone, experiences, values, etc.).
  • Sends it back to Slack, ready for me to tweak or post.
It follows some rules such as:
  • Third-grade level clarity.
  • No emojis.
  • SEO optimized.
  • Each post delivers one clear idea.
  • Strong hooks.
  • Factual and thought-provoking.
  • Avoids unnecessary fluff—no links to the original video or unrelated information.
The scenario is a bit complex because at the beginning we could only us this system for videos shorted than 10 minutes, then we have added a different path with a different transcriber for longer videos.
Do you have recommendations or ideas on how to improve it?
