TIPS FOR GMB AND SEO (if you answer i luv u)

Hey guys, im not offering SEO or anything. But for now i do want to help my clients setup basic online presence effectively.

What are the fundamentals for a GMB page, and how do i optimize it to rank. (also website, ik its more complicated here)

I guess what im asking, imagine you had a local business and you have always relied on word of mouth and your are just going to social media. What would be the fundamental first few things you would Implement on Google (GMB and Website) before doing all the crazy seo shit. Just want the basics lol, hope this makes sense.
